I'm still looking for science and engineering jobs in Oxford. I feel like I'm applying to just about everything I can and still no luck. Time to put in a few more PhD applications I guess and hope that one of them is successful (and hope the funding isn't falsely promised this time)
Another job opening at Pendo! We're looking for a mid-level front end engineer, working on building the product that Pendo's customers use to build and deliver guides for their products' users. These guides run in the context of customer applications, so this is a front end job that requires understanding the browser environment and working in part in pure JavaScript, not just frameworks.

Worcester College have now officially withdrawn my offer since Oxford have not given me the funding originally advertised.
The department still refuse to give me feedback on my application, so I can't even try to improve my odds next time.
I can't help but feel a bit broken and disillusioned today. I'm still no closer to having a job or studentship, and still need to try and find somewhere to live.
Just a reminder that I'm currently looking for work, preferably located around Oxford or Reading. I'm interested in anything that is at the interface of Engineering and Biology/Medicine.

So I heard back from the department today, it turns out they do know what happened to my funding... It got allocated to someone else.
So if anyone has any biomedical engineering jobs that I can apply to in Oxford, let me know! (actually I guess it doesn't have to be in Oxford now, I could move somewhere else in the UK)
