Bundesregierung und Industrie erwarten keine schnelle Erholung der deutschen Wirtschaft. Auch in der Eurozone insgesamt sieht es düster aus: Die Industrieproduktion ging überraschend deutlich zurück.
Die Eurozone kämpft weiterhin gegen die hohe Inflation, jedoch mit erheblichen Unterschieden zwischen den Mitgliedsländern. Die durchschnittliche Inflationsrate verharrt im August bei 5,3 Prozent.
