Today WWDC 2024 begins. I am a little sad not to be in Cupertino today, as twenty years ago was my first WWDC in San Francisco (I had only visited Apple Developer Conferences in Germany before).

It's frustrating that Instruments’ use of Spotlight to find dSYMs has never worked reliably. But at least I got it working this time by manually adding my project’s DerivedData folder. #Xcode#iosdev
I had an app idea recently, but never had time to realize it. However, I'll soon board a 12 hours flight to #WWDC24, soooo my plan is to get something TestFlight-ready until I land!

I've primarily worked on very small teams to deliver not so small apps. I'm accustomed to working with people at all organizational levels, and on all stages of the process.

Not sure if I’m looking forwards to it, or if I’m going to be mystery-science-theatring my way through as they announced AI features and what not. Suspect this year’s gonna be a mixed bag!
iOS Pros: If a UIView has NO superview, and NO window (i.e. both properties are nil), does that mean it is not on the screen, but rather held somewhere in view purgatory?

App Review rejected my macOS menu bar app, Done, because the “app menu is missing the required Quit option.“
However, the app allows a quit operation by right clicking the menu bar app icon and choosing quit. Do menu bar apps usually support other methods to quit? Is it possible they didn’t try this?
