It was a full weekend of #motorsport for me. #Indycar was absolutely pointless and a total fizzle of empty hype their stock car brethren would be proud of and the Cup race was just alright, but the minor #NASCAR ranks really delivered and an #F1 race without a Red Bull victory is always welcome. Disappointed in myself I was too tired last night for drag racing and I had to decompress with some music.
I'm traveling this weekend, so glad it is less hectic, but had fun none the less.

David Malukas połamał się na rowerze i nie wystartuje w pierwszej rundzie sezonu oraz dodatkowym wyścigu w The Thermal Club. Rehabilitacja ma trwać ok. 6 tygodni. Jeszcze nie ogłoszono zastępcy
I do love the trend, which was really kicked into high gear by Pato O'Ward's success, in #Indycar NXT for drivers to moonlight as Silver-rated drivers in LMP2 or GTD IMSA classes or even go over to the European sports car series and gain a lot more experience in different types of cars. I think it makes for more well rounded drivers, and it also helps with some of the vast majority of Indy NXT drivers who will not make it to Indycar or quickly wash out audition for a steady home elsewhere
#F1 I think we all agree that Danny back in the red bull next year is the most likely result, but the idea of putting Fernando next to Max is so just so appealing, if only because Fernando does not tolerate being a number 2 and is a calibre of driver that's not been in the second red bull, well, ever. Sorry Danny fans, I do rate Fred above Danny Ric (but I rate Alonso exceptionally highly)

Richard Petty and Mickey Mouse - both are trash... can buddies! The Walt Disney World Speedway was built in 1995 to support the Indy Racing League. Richard Petty Driving Experience was added in the 1997 off-season. Track closed in 2015, 20 years after being built.
Didn't get a chance to comment on it yesterday, but just wanted to say how impressed I was all weekend with Linus Lundqvist.
In practice and qualifying in mixed conditions, he was consistently a bit faster than what those Meyer Shank cars average this year, and he was solidly in the top 13 like all race until his accident, running some of it when pit strat allowed up in the top 10 with usually much faster cars. I really hope it was good enough to lead to more chances. #Indycar#racing
Od 2024 roku, finał sezonu IndyCar nie będzie odbywał się na torze Laguna Seca, na ulicach Nashville. Sama nitka toru ulicznego ulegnie też modyfikacjom. Zniknie uberciasna seria zakrętów za aleją Weteranów Wojny w Korei (która jednocześnie jest mostem) i zostanie zastąpiona nawrotem.
