I am thinking about setting up a wholly stand-alone instance that federates with nothing to get out of this treadmill of complaints about consent when someone stands up a new instance or a new bridge or...

“Have we secured the channel over which Agent Swift will appear on the broadcast to endorse the President?”

“No, we’re having trouble bringing up the tunnel - we need more time!!”

“Ok. I hear you. Get on the secure line with New York and tell em we need fifteen more minutes dammit!”

“Ok gentlemen, it’s a new game, rendering that whole three hours irrelevant. Except for Usher being on roller skates that was pretty awesome.”

Travis Kelce lifted the Lombardi trophy above his head, pointed to Taylor Swift in the stands and got down on one knee.

“Will you marry me?” He mouthed.

“Oh my god, yes” - came the reaction from Swift.

The crowd erupted into cheers.

Elon Musk, who was watching on began to tear up. “The power of true love. My god what have been doing these last few years. I need to hire back all the content moderators to sort out this mess.”

Donald Trump, who was informed of the events via a push notification while he was sat on the toilet, was similarly moved. “These kids, the really know how to hit you where it hurts. Wow. I’ve been a bad dude. I need to hand myself in and withdraw from the race.”

And in Kentucky, a sound that had not been heard for almost 54 years. Mitch McConnell embracing the joy of a single moment. “Elaine, I’m going to retire immediately, but not before I sort out all the problems I’ve caused and apologized to all of those I’ve wronged.”

And America was saved.

Most impressive thing I’ve seen in a very long time:

We’re getting a new car. Went to empty out the trade in and factory reset everything to eliminate the traces of personal information.

I have played with the OpenAI assistants API to understand it better this week. Not going to lie, it has some potential for BI and customer service type use cases, but it’s far from ready for production. I gave it a relatively small dataset (< 10MB) and about half the time it gave a reasonable answer, 40% of the time it just said it couldn’t read the files despite the fact it had just read them, and 10% gibberish. All requests are extremely slow, takes a couple of minutes to process most questions.

“Boss, we have high confidence SIGINT putting the Hamburglar at a location in northern Lebanon, would you like us to submit the location to the strike team?”

“No. Prepare the jet and fly me there. I want to take the bastard out myself. Hand to hand.”

“But, but, that’s incredibly dangerous. We don’t need to do that, and besides, it’s against protocol.”

“Fuck protocol! This is personal. I didn’t become Head of Global Intelligence at McDonald’s to call in a strike team while I sit comfortably at HQ. I did it so I could locate and personally see off the Hamburglar. Now, get me the jet! And see too it that the onboard ice cream machine is working. If this goes south, this could very well be my last McFlurry.”

“The agent we were running inside Burger King has taken a job at Mochinut, so we need to burn them and find some fresh blood.”
