I decided to rebuild my website in Kirby CMS, reprocessing 1600+ lines of content across 20 years from micro.blog. Here I talk about what I have built, how the move went, and what I still have left to do.

I've added a feature where you can click a button and visit a random post. I wasn't able to find this documented anywhere with #KirbyCMS, so thought I'd share how I did it in case is helps others.
Es sind die kleinen Dinge bei #KirbyCMS, die den Unterscheid machen, z.B: im Backend speichern mit ⌘-s. Bei #Typo3 haut mir der Browser jedesmal seinen Speichern-Dialog um die Ohren.

Upgrading my website to @getkirby v4 was painless. I spun up a clone of my live site and tested everything first, just to be careful, and everything just worked.

One has to be somewhat technical, to make it one’s own. HTML and basic PHP knowledge will help a lot. But the #KirbyCMS documentation is vast. (Surely you know those bits already.)
Would definitely pick it again.
@matthiasott I’m using #KirbyCMS on my site, but have tried pretty much everything - WordPress, SSGs of all kinds, hosted options, you name it.
Kirby isn’t easy to setup, the learning was steep for me as I’m not a developer, but I can customise every single piece of the CMS and it’s glorious to use.
Been doing some stress testing of different CMS's today as a continuation of the CMS size comparison last week. Kirby solidly outperforming the rest here too 👀
How do we feel about the @getkirby block editor after the novelty wears off? Because today is my first day, and it's been darn pleasant to use (and I don't like block editors ::cough:: Gutenberg). I wonder if @kev is getting along with Kirby. Using the block editor at all? I feel like I need to commit one way or the other. #KirbyCMS
I am really happy and a bit nervous, because here comes the @getkirby Podcaster-Plugin version 3. This is a huge release with so much optimizations and changes! I worked on this for some month and I hope you’ll like it!
