Actually I did enjoy the #maastrichtdebate2024 - though I have enjoyed listening to some more than to others. The European #Federalists were present, not just as the proclaimed enemy of ID, the European Pillar of #SocialRights could have been more present and the #ruleoflaw part sharper. This Christian dude Ghilețchi is amazing. In his #maastrichtdebate opening statement he said he wants values based on god. Now he said he wants fact based politics.
The refereeing team at #maastrichtdebate are playing this Howard Webb style - they’re too in the centre of the action. Although given the formulaic play around them, perhaps that is inevitable?
Meanwhile MASZ is like Sheriff Tiraspol or Qarabağ in the Champions League. An expensively assembled team but then flatters to deceive on the big stage. #maastrichtdebate

Ghilețchi - can’t work out where the goal is, ponderous build up
