Interesting take which @revk@neil and @bloor may be interested in: "[ISPs] should offer more than just "dumb pipe" internet services, and provide a safer online experience for their customers by adopting solutions that support the ability to offer parental controls"
As an Android user it amuses me to see iPhone people considering switching because Apple are a shower of bastards. They've either never used Android or have forgotten how fundamentally shit it is.
@JoeRess I cannot swap to #iphone because I need to control children's use of their phones - & apple does not allow for the same #parentalcontrol as Adroid's / google's #familylink app which works fabulously to control use of Android phones. One child had an apple phone and there was essentially no way of controlling its use. Thus I stick with Android for this very very important reason. I would say that there iOS fails 100%. Can you give me an example of where #android is worse than #iOS ?
I switched to a stupid iPhone so I could manage my kids’ stupid screen time but 99% of the time I try to use the feature I get a stupid blank page with a stupid spinning cursor that never resolves
