Call me nitpicky, but #pixelfedApp still doesn't show video files when trying to post, while #pixelfed web version still doesn't allow more than one video per post...

How long will this be the case?!

#Mastodon limits the number/size of media files per post, and you can't combine video and photo - but the platform is mostly text based, so I can understand up to a point.

#Fediverse platforms need to do better, if we want #openSource #socialMedia to succeed in attracting bigger audience.

Looking forward to the next update of #PixelDroid and the release of the #PixelfedApp (source code and regular app stores, of course).
An issue with #Pixelfed: After the app/web ui start there is a significant lag before the first posts are loaded. Can it be improved by a different approach or by performance improvements?
I've said it before: For now people really don't need more features but the maturation of the code and structure of this amazing project plus access to the apps.

The answer is still yes!

The code base is evolving at a rapid pace and is over 35K LoC already.

I ordered an Apple Watch Ultra (Pixelfed on WatchOS anyone?), and will be upgrading my iPhone next month.

Well I feel dumb, the iPhone battery slowdown "feature" is why my iPhone 13 Pro can seem choppy or slow when browsing the @pixelfed app feeds

I know there are still a few perf/UX improvements to be done, but this drove me crazy until I realized it was happening in other apps too

This isn't as noticeable on the IG app, and is likely due to the way they render FlatList, this give me hope #pixeldev #pixelfedApp

Oh my gosh, the newest #pixelfedApp build has a bug in one of the most important features, composing a new post.

The bug?

A fucking typo.
