infobeautiful, 2 days ago to random WARNING! This image may trigger PINSecurity. From an analysis of 3.4m PIN code leaked from several data breaches https://informationisbeautiful.net/visualizations/most-common-pin-codes/ A diagonal line of ‘heat’ from bottom left to top right reveals people choosing double digits (2323, 6868 etc). A strong horizontal line at the 19 point shows people using their birth year as a PIN code (1971, 1998 etc). And a large amount of heat in the bottom left shows how people commonly use their birthdate in a MM/DD or DD/MM format. The most common code in the set is 1234. The Top 20 most common 4 digit PIN numbers, as revealed by an analysis of data breaches, constitute 27% of all PIN numbers. They are 1234, 1111, 0000, 1212, 7777, 1004, 2000, 4444, 2222, 6969, 9999, 3333, 5555, 6666, 1122, 1313,8888,4321,2001,1010
