Das BSI hat Version 3.0 seiner Sicherheitsanforderungen an Webbrowser veröffentlicht. Interessant ist die »Browser-Abgleichstabelle« - insbesondere auf Seite 8. Zitat zu Microsoft Edge: "Übertragung von Telemetriedaten lässt sich zentral nur in „höherwertigen“ Windows-Versionen (Enterprise, Education, Server) per Gruppenrichtlinie „Allow Telemetry“ bzw. „Allow diagnostic data“ zusammen mit der Windows-Telemetrie deaktivieren."

C'est ce genre de détails qui m'ont aidé à passer le cap vers #Linux après #Windows7.
Après l'interface pourrie de #Windows8, un poil améliorée en version 8.1, celle de #Windows10 aurait pourtant pu me convenir.
Mais voir Angry Birds (notamment) installé par défaut m'a fait penser que Microsoft s'engageait dans un chemin complètement à l'ouest.
Et beaucoup d'autres choses ont fini de me convaincre du grand n'importe quoi à venir : #télémétrie partiellement désactivable (mais pas complètement) et réactivée lors d'updates, arrivée des publicités, fin du compte local, toussa toussa...

@mjgardner I find the idea more than disturbing that the provider of my browser could even know how much split views/tabs/whatever I’ve been using or make a certain statement over all its user base.
I try to cope with some software being closed source but local software reporting to their company what everyone is doing is a HUGE no-no. 🤮
