Mostly as I write - all my texts become part of a big #TeXLaTeX document which I regularly update and compile in PDF and EPUB versions.
The actual books still need some adjustments to their layout to make them fit for print, of course. But by that stage, most of the work is already done.
am I going mad? Compiling beamer slides on windows, it seems to be case-sensitive for colour names: "Blue" causes an error, but "blue" doesn't. Mac and Linux are fine with either.

Thanks a lot to Patrick Bideault for translating. I was asked to check it, which is quite hard as I don't speak a full sentence of french I guess … but I was told he did great work there!
The #pandoc#Docker images had been experiencing some bit-rot, but have been updated and are back in service now. The images include the latest release (3.1.13) and the current development version. They continue to be available in the four flavors minimal, core, latex, and extra. #TeXLaTeX images now ship with #TeXLive 2024.

Das tolle ist, man sieht es auf den ersten Blick, dass Anschreiben und CV mit #texlatex gesetzt sind.
Mit #Word bekommt eins das nie so schön und perfekt hin😅
The default LaTeX template in #pandoc v3.1.12 and later supports font fallbacks. The fallback is used if a glyph cannot be found in a font.
Example use-case: get color emojis in #PDF.

When I made the figure below I used LaTeX, powerpoint and then LaTeX again. Having learned some TikZ I now think I could draw it using TikZ, but apparently I'm too lazy...

Bei den #DANTE2024 sind ja immer auch der Friends-Teil, von TeX, LaTeX & Friends, gerne gesehen. @koppor nutzt für @jabref die Möglichkeit für einen Rückblick auf 20 Jahre #JabRef.
Nach wie vor finde ich es wahnsinnig spannend, dass der #Citavi Import in Jabref 1000-fach besser ist als der #BibTeX/#BibLaTeX export aus Citavi selbst.
Adelheid Bonnetsmüller hat zum 10. mal auf CTAN gestöbert und berichtet in „Having fun with LaTeX X“ von den Funden. Unter anderem zum Beispiel ein paar nette Dinos in figchild (https://ctan.org/pkg/figchild)
Ulrike Fischer bringt für das #TeXLaTeX Project mal wieder alle auf Stand und fordert dazu auf mit Altlasten aufzuräumen.
Also falls ihr noch

oder die Pakete expl3, xparse, textcomp ladet … kann man weglassen - also schon seit ner Weile. Ausnahme ist natürlich, wenn ihr mit uralten System arbeitet.
