Been so busy haven’t eaten anything or been outside for best part of today cooking our dinner now I am having aubergine and cheese pasta. Recent Solar flares have played havoc with my circadian rhythms.

My brain decided to bring up this memory for no reason today. Cereal box records. Back in the day, kid cereals would add cardboard records on the back of their boxes. You could cut them out and play them on any normal record player. The grooves were made with thin plastic and songs were pretty short.

Sound was horrible. But fun.

@Anchorstine @elaterite Hi Justine if you click the link in post by @elaterite there is more information about location we had a similar incident of vandalism here in UK where the iconic landmark tree at sycamore gap was chopped down. Strangely a book I read from kindle has disappeared from my kindle library but it doesn’t matter because I had finished it. Only download available is in sample form but at least I have a record of the book in the library now so I am happy. Catching up on my reading today after being gifted a paperback by my thoughtful cousin.

    If anyone tries to smash their way in here and take my Belongings for a Student loan debt I never incurred I will call the police and use excessive force to protect us if necessary. I am medicated for life with PTSD so am serious about this. Hounding a disabled young man who is working to pay off the debt, in this way is shameful, not a good look and believe me I am truly pissed about this and will take action. 🖕

    I knitted!!! Omg I'm so excited! It's taken me about 3 or 4 hours and wow was casting off nerve-wracking! But I did it!

    Does it get less painful as you get better at it? Or should I just wear a glove and a thimble?

    I’ve just been given the best gift! My ASD son agreed to a family photo he doesn’t like me taking his photo it causes him extreme stress and upset, now we have a lovely group photo it is special because for one of us it is their last Christmas sadly.

    Because it is Christmas Eve and a Sunday we are having a special dinner of boiled gammon, sage and onion stuffing crispy fluffy roast potatoes, sweet red cabbage infused with orange, boiled carrots and gravy. I don’t buy the taste the difference range instead make our own little tweaks to make things special

    I’ve made more delicious sugar free mince pie filling and it upgraded my toast to stollen too (without marzipan) you could add almond essence to your butter though! Takes 5 mins and a sterile jar. Juice and rind of one satsuma and one lemon, half kilo cheap raisins, sprinkle of sweetener powder, finely chopped apple pinch nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and mixed spice into a saucepan once cooked transfer to jar. Great as a sweet cheese chutney, on toast or porridge and of course mince pies.
