This is example highlights the benefits of heat pumps as the heat from the gas furnace is waste heat from something functioning on an entirely separate purpose that will occur independently from the water heater. In turn this situation benefits the heat pump as it is actually more efficient to scavenge the wasted heat from the gas furnace. It is super odd that your post is suggesting that it is not efficient because it is using “extra electricity” when the efficiency is from reduced running costs(money) and not hype fixating on just electrical usage. On the flipside, a gas water heater will use extra gas to heat the water, too! This is just silly

The more and more hot water spouts you have the more expensive the tankless design is, especially for running costs and short life span. The recirculating with a water tank will last longer, cheaper running costs, and can be fitted in already existing infrastructure of water tank designed homes. In building a new home, it is possible to have tankless water heaters be better than water tanks. especially if you can use Solar Panels to make the running costs near 0.

Yeah, this is the way, doing it manually is fun and all but its highly unnecessary extra effort as there are very little reasons as all of it is just configuration of the system. Archinstall is just the Text-GUI version that still offers the customize ability of the install. Heck you can load a configuration file that you can make before hand so that you don’t need to babysit the installation and can reproduce it in other systems/PCs.

What are you on about, what are you asking? why are you asking it?

This is false dichotomy because the intentions of the one using the human shield is known. On the other hand, the one who attacks the human shield needs plenty of context to determine his intentions, motives and decision making. They may not know the human shield is a human shield unless it is obvious or they are being alerted on the facts. Also, they may need to attack as there is clearly something off about the situation that they will fight to survive because there are times where you are at a disadvantage or terrible desicion making put you in a bad spot. Lastly human shields are not always tied up and may act independently enough that they are consciously accepting someone’s orders as a volunteer. There could be stray shots or the human shield intentionally gets in the way. There is so much context required that the “why” is not always subjective. It can be objective reasoning or random sequence of events that were badly done.

Not discounting the fact that there are situations where the “why” is subjective, like you are talking about where the person knows about the human shield and intentionally just targets them for no other reason and it is not collateral. However, this is a sterilized scenario that does not always occur.

I personally would rather have my phone be lightweight and carry a small power bank in my pocket or backpack or fannypack or satchel. The cord is a drawback as it can sometimes restrict mobility, and the phone gets hot. I live in a place where it is 15+ C in the fall and spring with 40+ C months long summer peaks. I have a phone cooler that has a fan, and the power bank has another port for it to plug into. Now I have two cables dangling from my phone. For some reason, I manage to always get them caught on knobs for drawers or doors.

It’s wild to me that 19% difference between the drop of on shore wind and solar to the same price point is massive, like that extra 19% drop in solar is quite literally more than half of the solar previous cost, about $230.

I dont think this but I know if I do get one, I’ll just get a financial advisor to help manage it. Aside from that my life would stay the same as I don’t want family and friends hounding me for cash. I am happy with my situation but would like to get a family of my own sometime and somehow get a place for us to live in. So you want a phone strapped to your wrist that can be oriented vertically or horzontally? Some samsung devices sport styluses, namely the ultra phone, that you can use instead of your fingers as it can be hard or impossible to do with gloves on. The unfortunate downside to this is that your arm would get tired after long use, and you are more dependent on headphones/earbuds or speakerphone for calls. A phone attached to your arm could be clumsy for quick actions and needs your hands to be free to use, but you live with what you have.

Maybe instead, a mechanical arm that attaches to your shoulders will be more versatile as you can still do one-handed, and your arm will not get tired. Could maybe include a stabilizer in the design for great video recording capabilities.

The phone or display attached to your arm /wrist will not work for all cases either, so we are just looking for enhancements to those who can take advantage of it. The rest will need either more specialized solutions or don’t need it.

You could put a loop system that circulates the cold water from the pipes back through the heater for a set amount of time, then have it switch over to sending the water to the shower. The problem is that a set of pipes will need to be installed that can send the water back and may need a custom solution on switching from circulating to dispensing. In the long run, it would be cheaper, but it would take a fair amount of time to pay itself back. The positive is that it is cheaper than installing electric heater on every water outlet but more expensive for just one outlet.

As you said, the pipes are not easily accessible. You may need to just live with it or suck it up and pay the professionals to install either the whole house water scavanging system for every hot water tap to be hot or just an electric water heater for just the shower. Depends on how much you want to save water vs. how much cash you can throw at this problem.
