Was listening to @blindboyboatclub's podcast recently, where he was talking about how he has a Patreon but doesn't offer anything extra. It's literally just a way for people to show appreciation for the podcast that will happen anyway.

It made me realise that I wished I had such confidence when I set up my (long-defunct) Patreon.

I felt like I had to offer more, even though I barely had the energy to put out a fortnightly podcast, which contributed to my burnout.

Still grumpy about last night, and the shithouse on Facebook Marketplace who said he'd be at ours at 6 to pick up a bed we were flogging for £100. He offered £80, which H accepted.

He sent an employee to collect it, gave him the wrong address, didn't tell him he was paying for it, and so he didn't turn up until 7:30, meaning I didn't dinner until 8pm. Oh, and nipper only had £77.50 on him, so after all that matey got £22.50 off the list price.
