It’s an interesting idea. A simulated version of me dates simulated versions of everyone else, and then tells me which ones were any good… It would save the hassle, for sure. Could reintroduce some honesty into hookups, too, less dancing around trying to figure out if that’s what you’re both after.
I’m not at all convinced that any company can convincingly simulate my personality though… and there are too many layers of abstraction here, do I really trust that the AI simulated opinions of the AI simulated version of the person thst only had a simulated conversation with simulated me is really going to reflect the real situation? I doubt it.
Well I’m not surprised to see that Neom is going wrong in both stupid and horrifying ways. This particular part will make it hard to be too smug about it with the Saudi fanboys though… This is just sad.
I’ve been seeing these for ages and I have never understood what’s funny about either the version with or without Heathcliff. It’s quite bizarre to find something so far removed from my sense of humour that I don’t get it even once.
I’d anything this just provided me with a well worded explanation for why I don’t like it:
It’s zany but not fun, there’s no joke, just “Here’s a thing, and here’s another thing, these two things don’t normally go together, but here they are together, isn’t that funny?”
Yknow, I don’t think anyone’s ever made a bike powered version of those insane £200 electronic masturbators there are memes about these days… Eco wank anyone?

If I understand correctly something like “touch AI” is already used, at least on keyboards. It’s actually very difficult to touch what you think you’re touching on a phone screen, so your device does some degree of prediction of where you really wanted to touch.
Yes, but the point is that I will encounter thousands of men in my life, and I may be assaulted by one of them yes, but there will be thousands of them who don’t.
Each individual encounter with a bear is much more likely to end in death - even though bears often won’t attack you. The proportion of encounters with bears that ends in an attack is much higher than the proportion of encounters with men.
Look I have a healthy level of caution around men, I completely get why other women choose the bear. It’s a fairly silly hypothetical, and if asked in the street I would probably have answered bear with my tongue in my cheek too*. However, presented with an actual bear and an actual man I will obviously choose the man because they are much less dangerous than bears.
The whole point of this “discourse” (at least as I understand it) is that men are a more realistic and present danger than bears. The fact that women choose the bear shows the level of threat that they feel on a daily basis. But trying to actually compare the genuine level of danger presented by a single encounter with a random man and a random bear, the man comes out on top. Undeniably.
*To be honest a lot of this conversation has made me rethink this position. I’m trans so I have experience of being perceived as a man… And honestly I do feel for the men who don’t understand. Fear of men is justified, but I worry that conversations like this slide us further and further away from reasonable caution and towards hatred, and that makes me sad and worried for how the future will look. The more that men feel attacked by women, especially feminism, the less they will support us - and we do need their support.
Even if this was true, what’s funny to me is that it would only be noteworthy if it was a mistake. If sovcit nonsense actually worked then… Why would anyone feel the need to share that it worked that one random time? It would only ever be interesting if it was an anomaly.
AI. It’s done a surprisingly good job with the detailing on top of the shoes - they even match one another very well which is often where it falls down - but the “teeth” are all wrong, the two sets don’t match and frequently they join top to bottom.
Not just that, but don’t acknowledge that it is a masquerade. Wrestling is “real” in that the performers and fans act like it is, even though everyone knows it isn’t.
I mean going vegetarian or vegan by definition reduces your options.
That said, there are lots of delicious slow cooked vegan foods. Despite what the other commenter says, there certainly are flavours & textures available that are not easily accessed on the hob, even eating plant based.
Obviously there’s quite a difference between fucking a cow and artificially inseminating one… But IVF is consensual, I think everyone would have a problem if a doctor was forcibly inseminating women.
