ColeSloth,

I think the Alabama law is quite clear. Every month a woman’s egg drops and she doesn’t go get impregnated, she’s a murderer. All women need to be pregnant from puberty to menopause, and if they aren’t, they’re killing babies.

Yep.

Bunch of damned retards.

ColeSloth,

I hate HOA’s, but some people like them. Regardless of how I feel about HOA’s I still think it’s dumb as hell that they should have any sort of liability for a member of an hoa doing something like this.

ColeSloth,

I’ve heard of your scam energy grid and hoyging electric prices in Texas. If you’re in Texas and don’t have solar I’d say you’re more of an imbecile than the crazy preppers.

But to answer your question, no. Solar doesn’t have that vibe where I’m at in the Midwest.

ColeSloth,

If that’s what you think flailing is. Looked like she did pretty well at not giving her own thoughts and opinions, avoiding the question, and claiming texas can’t secede because of the constitution. Didn’t look much like she failed at all.

ColeSloth,

I hated the page thing, so I’ve always used Nova to change that. I don’t even remember how things all looked and worked under samsungs UI.

ColeSloth,

I go places a lot of times with sketch internet connections and have a huge digital library I keep stored on my phone. Not to mention all the pictures and videos I take (and video recordings take up quite a large chunk of space). Then you get into, ok, I can pay $400 for this phone so it has 512GB instead of 128GB. That sucks when you can buy a 1,000GB card for less than $100.

So why do I need to spend so much more money to get something that should be so ridiculously cheap?

ColeSloth,

For real. Fuck samsung so hard. I can’t even get an oem replacement battery for my N20 Ultra. (I bought it used in early 2021). Managed to find one (battery) that appeared new and genuine from ebay about 2 years ago, but im going to need another in the next year or so, because there’s no replacement phone with a pen and a micro sd card slot beyond this one. Almost no phones with just the SD card slot.

ColeSloth,

So another company besides Google doing it.

ColeSloth,

Let me know if you find a place that sells oem batteries, because the aftermarket ones all suck and I’m on the lookout to get another oem replacement for my N20 ultra.

ColeSloth,

And like…carry more stuff?

ColeSloth,

I replaced one after a couple years when I broke my screen, so figured, might as well. Then it’s been a couple more years and I figure I’ll need another in like a year, and new ones will keep getting harder to find. I don’t plan on upgrading over the next few years.

ColeSloth,

I heard they’ve sold out, but they haven’t actually done anything yet.

ColeSloth,

Ftfy: why aren’t phones made with jacks?

ColeSloth,

Remember that old 80s future movie where a guy with no cyber mods was trying to compete in a fighting competition in order to prove that it was better to be fully human?

ColeSloth,

“Minnesota and the CDC reported that the three hospitalized patients were treated with the anti-parasitic drug albendazole and recovered.”

Albendazole and mebendazole kill of intestinal parasites in the same way. They starve them of sugars for several hours. I bring both up just because it rings angry memories about US Healthcare. They typically work with a single dose treatment.

Mebendazole is a prescription pill in the US and despite having been made in around the early 1970’s and costing around 4 cents a pill to make, in the US, after getting a prescription, the pills are $250 a piece.

In most of the world, they are prescription free and you can pick up a 6 pack of them for like $12.

ColeSloth,

Very true right there. It could just as easily be described as him flaunting technology like what was in the movie, though. I posted a side by side a bit ago and the voices are pretty different.

ColeSloth,

It was murky from the getgo. Open AI immediately came out and stated it was the voice of a hired voice actor and that all four or five voice options were, and that it was the voice actor using her own natural voice. The media has just chose to mostly completely ignore that and instead wanted to run with rumors that they stole ScarJos voice from the movie or by sampling a bunch of her work, because that sounds way more gossipy.

To your 2nd point though. The trump voicing stuff is a clear and apparent “parody” which is protected to be legally used. Even when Weird AL does his music, he doesn’t actually have to get the artists permission. He just always has because he’s a world treasure.

ColeSloth,

For anyone interested, here’s a comparison. They really don’t sound the same at all.

ColeSloth,

There’s already voice and likeness protections on the books. They got a similar sounding voice actress, but the voices are definitely distinguishable. ScarJo shouldn’t get to own any semi robotic voice that sounds fairly close to her own from a 10 year old movie. If every actor and actress gets to start making these claims against every voice actor or actress, that’s going to just screw over opportunities for the voice actors. Everybody sounds somewhat like one famous person or another.

ColeSloth, (edited )

Yeah. That’s bs though. Being rich and worried about it while you can afford security and large amounts of property and several vehicles and exclusive clubs and restaurants etc is 100% different than having to deal with the same issues, but with $60k a year instead.

Famous celebrity is a trade off. You’re giving everyone here only the option of taking on the bad portion, while having none of the good portion.

Also remember, most celebrities CHOOSE their fame/lifestyle. They want rich Famous with those issues over $60k and no fame and fortune.

ColeSloth,

Because pouring vodka in my bowls of cinnamon toast crunch is frowned upon by society.

ColeSloth,

It turns out in 1961 the American heart Association took bribery money from procter and gamble, who owned and sold “healthier Crisco” cooking oils that weren’t high in saturated fat, like beef and other cooking oils were.

The AHA then claimed and pushed that saturated fats caused heart disease.

Problem is, something like 88% of every study done in the past 60 years has found little to no link between heart disease and saturated fats.

So beef, according to most studies, isn’t bad for you. The AHA was just crooked and on the take, being paid off to sell Crisco.

Now it is calorie dense and people tend to eat too much of it, but that seems to be a lot of things. Don’t eat too much or you get fat. But apparently, you don’t have to worry about saturated fats being bad for you.
