They’ve all spent a fortune on shit to throw through our door, all of which has been funneled into the recycling, but basically none of them have a website with any information.

How hard is it in this day and age to throw up a quick, single page site that simply lists your plans, with a link to your socials?

Lots of #iPad-chuntering in the #Apple-sphere ahead of the announcements next week, and honestly, I think it’s Apple’s approach to the iPad that pisses me off the most.

It’s where it’s most obvious that they like money and don’t want to have to sacrifice any. So they charge £1250 for an iPad Pro that has the raw processing power to be an incredible computer, but they crippled it with iPadOS in order to incentivise people to also buy a Mac.

Something else that’s part of my job is inducting new starts, and something that always amazes me is how many of them simply don’t turn up.

They go to the effort of applying for a job, coming in for an interview and accepting the offer, then just don’t bother.

I mean, I get it. Either the interview shows them something they don’t like, or they get a better offer or whatever, but an email to say “nah, get fucked” only takes a minute to write.

I guess I understand why it’s the case, but it still blows my mind that British Standards documents aren’t freely available from .gov.uk as a download.

They’re literally the documents that outline how things should be done, but you have to pay a vast amount to access any of them.
