Forgot to charge my watch last night, so am once again attempting to charge it on the charger I have at work. For reasons known only to it, it just doesn’t appear to actually work.

It’s a genuine Apple one, but no matter which USB socket I plug it into it just doesn’t appear to do anything useful. The watch indicates it’s charging, but the battery doesn’t seem to fill up.

Never forget.....

Findus Crispy Pancakes were found to contain 100% horse meat. A whole generation of British kids grew up eating horses. I feel like that should be more of a thing. Maybe that's got something to do with the UKs mental health epidemic. Mental horselth epidemic (nope that doesn't work at all). But maybe we're all sad all the time due to eating a bunch of horses by surprise. SURPRISE, MOTHERFUCKERS! You just ate a horse. How do you feel now? This is what capitalism does to families.

@TheBreadmonkey Oh aye, I absolutely agree. I think we only shy away from eating horse over here because they’re useful to us. If we had traditionally ridden pigs* we wouldn’t have developed such an affinity for bacon.

Listening back to last night’s show (because I’m a narcissist), and am pleased with how my mic sounds. It was a little too loud last week, so I had to dip it in the edit before upload, meaning the levels are kinda shitty.

But I dropped the gain a touch this week and added a little EQ to it so it’s not so hot, but sounds a bit warmer. I’d like to add some compression to it, but can’t figure out how to do it in Mixxx.

Quick question: what are you hoping for Apple to reveal at WWDC this year? I’m writing a piece and it’d be useful to get insight into improvements devs and anyone else hopes Apple makes or new things it introduces (and how they are achieved).

@craiggrannell Be prepared for a barrage of “macOS on iPad” responses.

I’d like to see the ability to run Mac apps on iPad, and with that the ability to install them from any source. But I’m painfully aware that that wouldn’t apply to my 6th gen mini, which will continue to be treated as the runt of the litter.

I don't know what it is, but Mixcloud appears to be completely broken on Apple Silicon Safari

I've uploaded the show using my iPad, because Mixcloud just will not work with my Mac's browser, but I didn't fancy tagging it with the iPad's on screen keyboard, so I edited it on my Mac.

Hit save, and, well, nothing saved.

All that tagging, gone.

I'll tell you what's fucking mad.

I present the show using my MacBook Air. I took it off charge at 7 when I set everything up.

I've just done two hours of live radio on the battery, and exported the recorded show and there's still 55% left in the tank.

Also, I came off air 12 minutes ago, and it's already exported the file.

Apple might be shithouses, but they know how to make a good computer.
