Turns out it's been a problem for a couple months, is fixed in the beta of 17.5 which has been up for a couple of weeks, but nothing has been sent out to regular users yet.

Just followed a link to a thread on r/israel, in which a bunch of people from outside Europe were talking about how they cast all 20 of their votes for Israel, and it all just felt so profoundly depressing.

Perhaps I’m kinda tired and a shade hungover, but it just hit me that even something as enjoyable and relatively benign as #Eurovision can be hijacked by shitheads.

I'll tell you what; listening to the #Eurovision entries without the accompanying choreography of the live show certainly helps me to figure out which ones are musically interesting. Particularly as the playlist doesn't note which country they're representing.

The Israel entry came on, and all I could think was how it's just a generic Eurovision entry. Nothing special about it at all. But I didn't realise it was Israel until I looked.

The sun is shining today, and Apple Music has just shuffled up this absolute beaut from Royksopp.

It’s whisked me right back to lounging by a pool in Ibiza in September 2003, where I drank an ungodly amount of San Miguel while listening to this on my MiniDisc player.
