I’m looking to change my reading and buying habits away from Amazon and need an alternate source for my ebooks. Where can I buy ebooks that won’t expire or have their licence revoked and will allow me to download a copy of that ebook I can store on my own system regardless of the websites status?

Hi! I previously had windows installed on an intel RST raid 0 disk and I’d like to switch it to Linux mint instead. However, from what I’ve found, rst isnt compatible with Linux mint as it’s specifically a windows thing....

Both are things I’ve heard constantly through my life. Made me feel horrible about myself every single time because I didn’t understand why at the time either.
Most of my teachers just assumed I was pissing about behind their backs and would ask me “you must know why you haven’t been able to complete the work/homework/task” even if I had been listening and really trying.
Took the whole of primary school and the first year of secondary school before I actually got a teacher who understood and helped me to actually get somewhere.
Still not officially diagnosed just because of how shockingly bad adult ADHD diagnosis is in the UK and not being able to go private but most all the techniques I’ve used have worked and I think almost any GP that would look at me would probably agree.
Just to say, anyone who might be reading this and can imagine themselves saying/have said these in the past, please don’t. You have no idea how unhelpful/damaging talking like this can actually be to someone who really needs the extra support.
People are already struggling to afford to buy the unsustainable options. If an alternative is offered but the cheaper one is still available people are going to buy the unsustainable option because it’s short term better than straining their paychecks even further.
The solution isn’t shaming consumers for picking the cheaper, unsustainable option. The solution is taxing the ultra wealthy and the corporation’s producing unsustainable food and using that money to subsidise sustainable options and massively undercut the unsustainable products.
Normally, I’d say that it’s a great shame that a piece of valuable scientific equipment was lost and that it’s a massive loss to humanity as a whole as the international scientific community is usually able to co-operate regardless of boarders.
But this time, Russia said they won’t be sharing any data gathered from this probe with the international community and would be keeping it all to themselves so suddenly I don’t give a shit.
My cousin got a new TV and I was helping to set it up for him. During the setup thing, it had an option to enable AI enhanced audio and visuals. Turning the ai audio on turned the decent, but maybe a little sub par audio, into an absolute garbage shitshow it sounded like the audio was being passed through an “underwater” filter then transmitted through a tin can and string telephone. Idk who decided this was a feature that was ready to be added to consumer products but it was absolutely moronic
