I didn't read up on the Silk route, history of Chinese monasteries to do with their martial arts, travelling distances by foot per day & try to find out about climate conditions around 1100s & similar from BOOKS just when considering writing personal Nasir-fic for Robin of Sherwood. Had already ofc studied the Crusades + assassins far b4 that.

@trixter If I had extra energy/executive function available even semi-reliably, I could try sketching something even on a smaller scale, but there are better people who both draw Transformers regularly and have their things together I'm sure.

I mostly liked drawing ppl (from references), but of what little I have saved/online, I posted the roboty 1s in my 1st wk already as recall. Scorpius + Natira had hints of non-human surfaces hence the link.

@trixter Mine was born in 1946 so that's been different for me, but really. People born in the '60s were just the ones in their (late. ish) 40s. 1955 is... 56+ to maybe 60s or something?

Air Raid and Fireflight are orange tabbies with one brain cell between them.

Skydive is a smart but often overlooked black kitten.

Slingshot is a Siamese.

And Silverbolt is the mama cat who has to keep them out of trouble.

Thanks to this Transformers zine project Iโ€™m involved with, I ended up getting up in the middle of the night to spend over an hour rereading my own very old fanfic. It was not especially well-written but boy did it have a lot of feelings.

My love language was emotional trauma. :)

Mr Original It's Over 9000! Brian Drummond Vegeta is however ofc always the thing it was watched for. Piccolo had some potential but nothing like my man there.

I was too 'old' for even TMNT tho let alone DBZ. Watched in any case.

Philip Glass' Akhnaten heard/seen the 1st time, and the 1st thought was how beautiful the prelude's start sounds. Then it takes a little 2 long repetitively w/ nothing really visually engaging instead either/it's PG, what did I/you expect?

Once the father/Amenhotep III speaks, the thought of our still performing our funerary + worshipping rites 2 ancient Egyptian kings & gods arises. And that this worship I want to or don't mind participating in. Praise the gods.
