Ubuntu 22.04 (LTS) is also critically broken. Example: Depending on your storage configuration IO performance can be 100x worse when compared to an unpatched mainline kernel. (dsync when using mdraid 5 or 6 on NVMe)
I'm despondent about the poor state of ARM support across many python geo projects. The blocker for many seems to be the lack of ARM GitHub Action Runners & general ARM action support. Self-Hosted is possible, but a hurdle compared to just using the public runners. QEMU on x86 is possible, but is extremely slow, 8x slower than a Raspberry PI 5 based Self-Hosted runner. Cross-compile is also possible, but can be very complex. The ARM-on-server future is here, it is time for us to catch the bus.
Oh the sweet irony... OpenStreetMap Foundation's DMCA takedown procedure document stored in Google Documents has been taken down by Google for a "violation" of their terms of service. 3 to 5 days for Google to review. I'd have thought bland legalise wasn't against their ToS.
