Just finished reading 's last novel and well, it's kinda ok but it's not even close to other previous novels such as 1Q48, Kafka on the Shore, Tokio Blues... Have you read it yet?

Currently in the middle of this dystopian science fiction novel, written by Mary Shelley and set at the end of 21st century. It's 2090's but the flavour is quite 19th-century-ish: people are still using carriages and there's conflict Greece-Turkey, as if we were still in 1919.

Huh. It just occurred to me that not everyone reads all the time. Like, there’s a bunch of people without books they’re reading right now. That concept is so bizarre to me. I’ve always got several books going. Ebooks, audiobooks and physical copies of books. If you don’t read anymore, when and why did you stop? No judgement. I’m genuinely curious. @bookstodon

@Helen50 @ericsfraga @Rhube @bookstodon I never worry about abandoned books. Sometimes are the books, or the moment or... Never mind. Life is too short to feel guilty for an abandoned book. There's plenty of new books in my TBR list.

I've just been recommended this novel by David Gilmour. The plot seems quite attractive:

@willaful @bookstodon I totally agree with your idea, guys. Watching interesting movies, listening to records, reading nice books and going to art museums should validate parts (or most😜) of the syllabus. It's a shame I'm not the education minister. You should consider voting for me, hehehehe
