GrayBackgroundMusic,

I hate it because it was a bait and switch. I didn’t have to and now they’ve altered the deal after I’m wayyyyyyyyyyyyy past the refund period. If it wasn’t gonna be optional, don’t let me play in the first place.

GrayBackgroundMusic,

That kinda suggests that it wasn’t a publisher decision, or at the very least, that their community manager(s) are handled by Sony.

Eh, could likely be that the CM is tired of the bullshit. Everyone has a breaking point and a thousand frothing fans is gonna bother anyone.

GrayBackgroundMusic, (edited )

I’ve had a beard for 10+ years now. I was going thru a really rough period and didn’t do much hygiene. Once I got out of that rut, I kinda liked it. My spouse, who initially said they didn’t like beards, complained when I shaved it.

I’ve always wanted one. I have a baby face and it makes me look older and people take me more seriously.

How do you build complex shapes? (i.imgur.com)

I’ve made a large number of custom prints, and all of them were created using TinkerCad. It’s an amazing toolkit, stupid easy to use but versatile. That is … until something needs a tiny adjustment somewhere. That’s when I feel it would’ve been neat to use parametric CAD instead....

GrayBackgroundMusic,

You can treat Fusion360 like Tinkercad, if you want. You have to create the shapes from scratch, but you combine them just the same. Thanks to the parametric timeline, you can make the tiny adjustments and then the software will rebuild it. The complex shapes are harder but, in general, the more complex functions are just faster ways to accomplish the same goal.

GrayBackgroundMusic,

You had a different childhood than mine. It was code for “they’re a moron”.

GrayBackgroundMusic,

The Swiss Army Man

Yeah, but in a good way. Radcliffe is freaking brilliant!

GrayBackgroundMusic,

Plenty of “this is gross or terrifying or…” type answers. How about Sorry to Bother You because it’s one of the most “what the fuck” turns in the later act. Seriously, I never, ever saw that coming.

GrayBackgroundMusic,

Same thing with crime and basic needs. It costs less to give people housing, food, etc, than to staff the police and infrastructure for jails. Once you realize that, you realize it’s not about the cost. It’s about the cruelty.

GrayBackgroundMusic,

Nowadays? I’ve never enjoyed mobile gaming. Every time I try, there’s been an absurd paywall or monetization. Once that strikes, I’m out.

GrayBackgroundMusic,

All of them. I never talk about it in public, except giant robots. It’s the only socially acceptable version. I thank Transformers for this.

GrayBackgroundMusic,

Yeah, I generally stick to what the average American finds OK. Transformers is good. Pacific Rim is older but OK. I don’t go into Macross too deep unless I know they’re cool with it.

GrayBackgroundMusic,

(around 95C when klipper reports 200C).

Oh wow.

GrayBackgroundMusic,

It’s been so long, either a Mega Juicer or Titan Juicer from RIFTS. rifts.fandom.com/wiki/Juicer . Essentially a steroid user but with super science. Massive person. Think Strong Guy from X Factor en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strong_Guy . He loved western wear, but often got into situations where mega damage would destroy his outfit, so he had cargo crates full of the same black cowboy hat and duster. He became a juicer to save his sibling, they were both poor kids and sibling needed medical help, so he answered an ad for experiment subjects.
