Don't get me wrong, I WANT to be nicer to Ubisoft, on here, but they ain't making that easy for me.

On Tuesday I felt like playing some R6.
After 2 games where the statistics and rewards barely loaded afterwards, the servers gave in and I couldn't play for a couple of hours.

Played some CoD4, then.
Mind you, this game is 17 years old and the mod community maintains the servers better than a multi million dollar company.

Their servers ALSO have problems right now and we can't log in.

Honestly this makes me so damn angry.
Not only because I was personally attacked, but because the sole reason these people type in chat, is making others feel miserable.

This behavior is just intolerable.
As a community we need to be better and call each other out, if we misbehave.

Be better than this.
Pull each other up instead of bringing others down.

For context:
I was going 16/18/10 or something on Reyna in a unrated and I just congratulated them on the ace they pulled off.
I haven't typed anything in chat and they were AFK a couple of rounds before.
Therefore I was kinda happy they were back and going strong.
After that my joy died for obvious reasons.

Ngl, sometimes the "Sea of Thieves" community sucks pure and utter ass.

I get that it's a pirate game and part of the experience is pvp and robbing and killing each other.

BUT chasing an empty ship across the whole map, just to make others feel miserable and destroy their experience, goes too far, imo.

Those are the exact people who were whining about the implementation of the "Safer Seas" feature, complaining there would be less players in the open seas, then.

I don't have a problem with getting wrecked, losing all my hard earned loot, yada yada yada.

What I have a problem with is being humiliated for no reason whatsoever.

I had enough of that in school, I don't need that in my favorite games.

I finished . I was right the last time: it took only about 20 more minutes to see the credits roll.
Sadly, that also only left me with the big reveal. I'm...maybe disappointed? I don't know. Everything resolves nicely, but I can't help but think that playing the whole thing in one or two longer sittings would have made it hit harder.
I basically ended the game the last time with one big puzzle piece and found the smaller second piece today. 😕

Even if the end left me a bit disappointed.
I don't know what I expected, but I somehow expected more than what happened.

teufel noch eins, was für ne woche. da war pause kritisch wichtig. stausee auf der karte entdeckt, zuerst gedacht ich hätte mich geirrt (siehe strava), dann gedacht ich käm nich ran (siehe vorhin), dann haben mir nette menschen den weggebauten weg gewiesen :)

As you already know, the 'The Crew' servers will be shut down at the end of the month.
And as I've posted before, I really care about this game and I wanna be there when it gets shut down.

BUT:

  • I'm not gonna be home that weekend.
  • It's not clear to me, if the game will shut down on the 30th or the 31st (Article says 31st, client says 30th).
  • I don't know if Amazon Luna will keep the game until the very end.

The game kicked me out, 3 minutes ago and it seems like the servers are offline, for good, now.

Fun fact:
If I wouldn't have been unemployed mid 2020, I would not have made it through the first two battle passes of Valorant.
That's how hard they were to complete, at the time.
