Haha, our moms must have been related. I felt soo rebellious by adding more butter than was called for to things. I still went far too long after that before I discovered that I’m not going to die at the dinner table if i use salt and/ or pepper. eg. I hate green beans. But put some garlic salt on them? Heck yeah.

It’s in Georgia? I don’t know how rural that specific area is, but for context I live in the city limits of a rather populous city but I’m in a rural district. And the jackwagons behind my house regularly target practice in their back yard. On a weekend, it can go on for an obscenely long time. We just try to tune it out.

This requires one to be responsible enough to get out from under the covers. Cold rooms are my perfect sleeping environment. I would just roll over and pass back out. I have the thermostat set to start warming up the place in the morning. If I’m too warm, I’ll eventually not be able to go back to sleep.

Yesterday, I made bad decisions. I may make bad decisions tomorrow. But today, I made a decision that was slightly better than it could have been, and I’m calling that a win.

I’ve done both. I prefer even weave to aida, and I like stitching over 2. I don’t think it looks like aida at the end. IMO it looks like tapestry. If you stitch over 1, it’ll be very hard to do half stitches (if there are any in your pattern). Over 1 looks like petit point to me, so I guess each has their place depending on what you’re going for.

Another fruit/nut combo to try are craisins and slivered almonds. I’m not a fan of raisins unless they’re in cinnamon bread or bagels, but I love substituting craisins in salads and other savory dishes that call for raisins.

well, shit. I did not know that about cats. I’m entering menopause and my hair is thinning. I bought a box but hadn’t started using it yet. Guess that’s going on the buy nothing group.

edit: I also started taking keratin and biotin supplements. While it hasn’t been long enough to notice results in my scalp, my eyelashes are getting long and curly!
