ZT-8 with 3 reaper guard ops

I really enjoyed doing this first dive into nicheknights. My initial goal is just to clear with as few units as possible. But my reapers were able to handle the stage, hence this showcase.

It's a super fun and fulfilling experience, and I intend to do more of these clears from here on. It's also a nice source of content I can make and post online.

I started my own niche after reading discussions on Reddit and people sharing their experience so Collab Vignette was my start to record and do the niche I had in mind for long time.
Though I dropped Reddit after api fiasco, so only discord that was propped up by r/Arknights where I can discuss and share my clears.

so misskey.io announced they're introducing a temporary measure against the spambots by ignoring all posts, boosts, replies and whatnot from other instances, UNLESS a user from a different instance is followed by someone on misskey.io

if you wanna maintain communication with misskey.io's users you should make an account from there and follow your main that is on another instance (the announcement itself recommends this method)

The sign ups were limited to Japan only after big influx of English artists and so on.
But I do have a memo that I follow for players/artists so promise me you give a watch of anime at least 😉

@o76923 There won't be easy way to explain fediverse and for some even if they try it out they won't get because many people won't try deduct how it works by touching/feeling things. It's like trying to tell that old ways of custom servers were good when it had problem with population while centralized game server will poof out of existence when game is old and won't be supported. I have completed the tech tree, completed all recipes, maxed out the buffs my base can give, and have a decently long maze around my base. I still can't figure out how to survive the bully rush on the day 9 raid.

My next guess is to spend a run or two building a row of 20 Fortification II barriers to trap them in front of an archer wall and give up on using units to block entirely.

I still hate this game mode. I have no sense that I'm progressing despite pouring in effort because I never know which thing I'm trying is going in the right direction. If I wanted tons of grind for no gain, I'd go back to applying for a job.

@o76923 I think Dorothy S3 is queen on this event. Mines that see big distance(while Yato2 and Texas2 only 2 tiles), that can slow. Get Ch'alter S3 and make support Item that slows. Block on any map(if you have no maze at base yet) to funnel enemies to one entrance. Add Specter alter to slow with her doll. But yeah just writing this means you need stuffed specific operators while you can't borrow any... and I got "Lucky" with Dorothy on Yato2 banner. Still in early game... only 1600 event tokens

@ernest I think lack of communication is a problem, but it's not end of the world. Some people gone Kbin and understand potential Kbin has, so don't throw line like you step down due delays. When reddit blackout happened some people noted that "Reddit founders" only noted 2 people... when years ago there was 3 founders. One was booted and now is buried as if he never was there. I would rather have you with your life problems than someone who have no such problems... Thank you for your hard work!

Not for Lemmy precisely, but I said f it and never gone back(excluding random click). Trying to help AK community I was involved past few years. Moderating a bit on kbin AK magazine, but mostly either spend time on Discord where mix of reddit and non reddit sitting. Mastodon for more serious information and interaction with Lemmy, while Misskey for Arknights fanart/art with hopes that some federates to Kbin magazine(lately # not picking up sadly). Waiting for better mod tools, federation fixes.

Without complicating too much when people talk about federation/fediverse, here https://fedidb.org/ which lists services that uses same protocol aka fediverse. So if you don't find niche on your instance, it might be somewhere on other lemmy instance, kbin instance or somewhere on Microblogs/blogs in related . If you find people with same interests you can create community yourself. It's wild,prototype,unexplored west here. GL.

I Tried Reddit Again and it Sucks Now

I installed the official Reddit app and went on it to see what the old place was looking like now. My inbox was filled with spam. The “home feed” shows subs I never subscribed to. Yeah, like many things were mitigated if you used reddit only on mobile with good app, I even don't remember when I sit behind PC to browse reddit. I do know about crypto vault on official reddit app, that later learned only on crypto subbredits only you can earn crypto.I showed some cat pics from subreddit on official app and scrolling from vid to vid...And there were weird jumps from cat doing funny things only to other subreddit. So ads redirect from one sub to other when watching full screen

Yes, I still have a #Twitter account, cause so many people who I am friends with; are still there.

It sucks that they can't go to places like #Discord. Or here, but here; things they would want. Are not present within #Mastodon or the #Fediverse.

I Roleplay / write stories with others, have been for 25+ years. So far, there is no #Roleplay area's within the Fediverse. That is why I can not wait until there is one.

@blissfulmun Yeah Fediverse definitely lacking in Niche topics. I would advise to give a look at Lemmy but mostly Kbin (due being rather new and more promising in future) . It's forums on Fediverse and easier to find such topics. So might find community you wanted there? Like we don't have Arknights community on Fediverse either, only after I joined Misskey.io I found out about channel(Misskey only feature) that is dedicated to Japanese Arknights players.

@blissfulmun Back to forums, with no explicit Arknights community for Global players we made our own on Kbin as well as many who jumped from Reddit due Reddit following in steps of Twitter. They wanted from 3rd party apps to pay 0.12$ per request, which comes in millions for app makers due how Reddit handles requests it comes around in Millions. https://www.theverge.com/2023/6/8/23754183/apollo-reddit-app-shutting-down-api as source. So after series of blatant lies from Reddit some dedicated community members left for fediverse.

@digital_wyrm0809 I agree with your points but I think you skipped part in my message and jumbled all in one. https://fedidb.org/ If you look at Pixelfields website dedicated to tracking, you will see tab Threadiverse which is Lemmy+Kbin. Know why it's trending? Due redditors aka forum loving people leaving because of #redditblackout #redditmigration . So in fact they are Fediverse forums/link agregators. Federation is a major thing as well, but it's easier to search random community posts.

And I assure you I can post on Kbin/Lemmy from Mastodon, many my posts on this profile are direct replies to interesting posts from Lemmy or Kbin. Problem lies that for Mastodon it's groups @arknights while Lemmy has workaround by self boosting posts by group, Kbin doesn't have that and rather new( 5 months I think?) So it is long road.

@Blaze @ALostInquirer Yeah documentation is reaaaaaallyyyy lacking. Mastodon you kinda understand if you look enough, but Misskey .... If you don't use feature you won't find any information unless someone wrote a guide which is problem in it self as guides most likely are notes so it won't be easy to find one. Well if you don't want to use threads you will need to delete Instagram account, so basically they tied their rapid growth to 10 millions by making Instagram accounts=Threads accounts. No wonder from 10 millions it gone down to 2 millions I think? Just shove them big numbers and they come said corporate in their bid to undermine Twitter oh sorry Xvideos.... No something not right... Xpictures? X-com good game but hmmm? Anyways just a power grab with idea to consume fediverse in long run.
