I'm deeply concerned about what they're inflicting on workers to make this happen. It was already unsustainable, killing and disabling people and forcing them to not even take bathroom breaks.

I can be a petty SOB.

I asked my multi-livestreaming service to prorate me and let me out of the last two months of my year long subscription because I wouldn't be using the service anymore.

They said, "No." which is their right. If they want to hold to that last $30, they have every right to.

I ALSO have the right to post EVERYTHING WRONG with the service in detail on all of their YouTube videos. Copy and paste is a great tool.

BTW. The service is called "EVMUX". I do not recommend.

@stephanie @shoq Yeah, treat it like it's still contagious as long as you're testing positive. And sometimes after Paxlovid there's a brief rebound of symptoms, so take care just in case.

I assume you already know to rest and take it easier than you think you need to, for longer than you'd think, because that can help avoid/reduce long covid

Woke up, went to use the toilet, and as I'm sitting there my cat appears and stares at me.

I get dressed as my cat watches.

I start to leave the bedroom and my cat is at the top of the stairs waiting for me to go down.

I go down and my cat walks ahead of me to get to the patio door. I open the door and my cat steps out.

I feed the dog, and then sit in my chair and pull my laptop up.

My cat jumps on the arm of the chair and starts purring waiting for me to brush it.

@Mrfunkedude Saw some context-frew nonsense on the bird app, giggled in a discord with some friends, watched cute bird videos bc we have no pets. Mr. Webs is terribly allergic to cats and dogs. I love cats, and it makes me sad. 😭

We will probably get a bird soonish, though. Hoping for one that'll snuggle and have conversations.
