I'm playing with react again but Vue has grown on me a lot, it feels a lot cleaner. I kind of want to rewrite everything using Vue but then again employers are still mostly looking for react. I might see if I can extract bits of pieces for practice though.

I'm playing with web assembly too. I'm actually quite excited when it comes to playing with that because there's some projects I'd like to create. (I have a feeling they would become not so mini very quickly haha.) I can think of some nice web app ideas but do I have the ability to create them? Hahaha.

So Bluesky has its first outright Nazi member and not a real strategy on how to handle that. You can’t block users, only mute them so it leaves the community in danger that you can’t outright stop that user from seeing you.

This is where these systems fail, when they are so scared of censorship they put users in danger.

@danarel That's actually a shame because it means that some communities on fedi who don't want to deal with unmoderated nazis may have no choice but to defed from bluesky once it becomes a bigger than too.

It's definately dangerous for their users, they're better off on another ActivityPub platform.

@neil I feel this, it also makes podcasts searchable, I can return back to some points.

I also enjoy them for the sake of learning langauges, reading and listening is so helpful.

I need to make a (work) decision some point soon and, for once, I am on the fence.

The UK Information Commissioner’s Office has offered me an occasional seat on its Technology Advisory Panel.

I guess I should be chuffed, but the overall selection and onboarding experience has left so much to be desired, that I am in two minds whether it is worth me accepting.

But it might lead to some interesting experiences, and I guess I could always turn down stuff if it was problematic for me…

@neil Not that my opinion matters but dude, you're a tech lawyer! I'm sure you'll be fine, they probably need someone who's aware of the law in the context of tech.

Twitter is a hotbed of hate and people like to make others feel bad. Pay them no mind.

If it's something you want to do then accept that place but if it's something you're on the fence about it may take some more time to think about whether it's worth it.

Either way, Twitter randoms aren't worth your time. You've got this!
