I was concerned about this business model from the onset and my worries have proven accurate! Buying the game while in early access wouldโ€™ve given them more funding to work with instead of going with a free to play with cosmetic only purchases. I hope the affected developers are going to be okay in this layoff heavy year. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Thatโ€™s what I thought tooโ€ฆIn addition, needing to buy a fake currency with real money before being able to buy a skin pack has a dark pattern vibe to it! They wouldโ€™ve been better off making the skin packs cheaper (using real world money) and listing their game for a reasonable price during early access. However, their staff is paying the price for the leaderโ€™s poor decision and that honestly sucks!

A great video! I partook in unscientific journeys, looking at rivers and wondering where they begin as well in many Elder Scrolls games becauseโ€ฆItโ€™s fascinating as you find all manner of surprises in maps if you explore a bit.

Republicans and their far-right news outlets are well known for this misleading and outright hostile to reality reporting; Good for Biden on at least stopping them from putting out cuts which would be used to manipulate the masses. They can still use transcripts, but often voices have a lot more power.

My own inner monologue is a mix of movie and voice, I often see the real life/animated equivalent of what thought/idea is trending within my monologue. Years after a thought experiment on the concept of creating a Tulpa, that artificial inner presence still exists. It tends to influence the monologue direction for at least a few hours at a time; then it fades from my awareness for weeks or months at a time.

The same thing could be achieved by self reflection, developing emotional intelligence, and doing the work to improve as a man! That way hostile masculine feelings can be calmed.

Sounds like the shitty corporation I walked away from over 2 years ago without notice. Walmart is such a shitshow, itโ€™s only held together by the few who give enough of a shit to treat employees right. Their policies are employee hostile and customer neutral in most casesโ€ฆI feel for my friends that are busting ass there still.

Yeah, thatโ€™s what a lot of the policy changes accomplished here as well, they got rid of quite a few old timers before reverting most changes! It was bad, as a knowledgeable staff was cut down. ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ

An apt take away from looking at the whole healthcare system in America! Itโ€™s profits driven instead of care driven! I would hate to get seriously ill as it stands. There were several bills that the hospital forgave in the past in my case because it would actually put me in a far worse situation: Financially, medically, and mentally! Today, Iโ€™m not certain that kindness would be extended to me again.

You were ignored because the idea was too sensible, an administration nightmare (theyโ€™re paid to deal with shit like that though). Thereโ€™s so much evidence that the system is failing everyone, politicians are dragging their feet with a long-term solution (due to health insurance lobbying). Weโ€™ve just got to keep fighting against the bullshit and make healthcare a better situation for all Americans. Small victories until a bigger win happens, even if itโ€™s not in our lifetime; setting the foundation for a total victory is better than doing nothing.

Iโ€™m glad that feeding off of Sonyโ€™s crumbs and making poor choices is really hurting them. Their executives need to pay for their costly mistakes by getting booted to the curb, not their developers or other staff responsible for making games. Their developers are the ones who could help turn Square Enixโ€™s situation around. The execs are merely financial vampires!

Thatโ€™s pure greed at this pointโ€ฆJimmy Johnโ€™s is still well in an affordable range. As a rule, I tend to avoid buying food from places with surge pricing as fast food is supposed to be affordable! Itโ€™s not fine dining and as a result should be priced appropriately; theyโ€™ve forgotten their role in the food space and thus their business will live or die based on future choices.

In addition to my original comment, I totally forgot about Culverโ€™s which would actually be the cheapest; Their value combo is less than 10 dollars and mighty tasty! I visit both places as they are lighter on my bank account.

Yikes! On average (as a single dude) itโ€™s around 19 and some change for delivery. In store I end up paying around 13 dollars! For more than one person, itโ€™s better to eat at a proper sit down restaurant.

It is freeing as an agnostic atheist; Iโ€™ve dropped the idea of sin. An unproven being cannot be โ€˜sinnedโ€™ against. The bible to begin with was written by man, until God himself visits all of humanity to introduce themselvesโ€ฆThe shackles of sin that Christians wear is for them alone. No amount of shame or anger those believers attempt to burden me with will cause me to adopt the concept of sin again! Their creator must prove that it exists, as the burden of proof always lies with the one who presents an idea.

I simply act with a moral compass that guides me into not doing illegal or shitty things to other human beings. I feel this is enough to live a good life.

LOL Iโ€™m thankful that people know to text me instead of call, I will ignore an unsolicited phone call (if they leave a voicemail, Iโ€™ll be the judge of if itโ€™s something important). A dubious phone call is often caught by Scam Shield, I wonโ€™t be notified until the alert from Scam Shield sounds off.
