To be fair a lot of people have it on TestFlight because originally that was the only way to get it.

Leafly lists 6,822 cannabis strains. Though ‘strains’ or more aptly cultivars are often not reflective of the actual underlying chemical nature of the plant [source]. They are ultimately not very meaningful in general.

Based on this database, Europe has 104 varieties of hemp registered.

Canada has 87 but there is probably overlap.

Though potatoes and cannabis aren’t really a fair comparison for many reasons. There are a lot of different species of potatoes with major chromosomal differences but cannabis only has 3 species.

I’d say it’s mostly garbage. It introduces annoying pop-ups. You can turn them off but it’s grating.

E.g. every time you connect to a new screen it asks to go into presentation mode.

I’d say anything parallels toolbox can do, I can find an open source tool which can do it better. Sort of a jack of all trades, master of none.

Though I could see it being useful for a non-power user that is afraid of installing software.

On Reddit, I think a lot of them monetize it. But generally speaking it’s a rewarding thing to feel like you’re building something greater than yourself.

I really don’t think that 3rd party apps were anything but collateral damage. I think his real goal is to try and capitalize off of AI training.

He clearly saw these companies using reddit data to train AI for like no money and got upset.

I would say it’s not really an age thing. I mean age probably plays a role but ultimately it’s just a hobby that is relatively common and not very exciting to an outsider.

This is definitely experienced by 20 year olds too. There is definitely a social pressure.

Based on this, 12% of people in your age bracket play video games, it’s typically a roughly 50/50 split by gender. Not exactly a small amount. I think it’s more that if you date 10 women, one will be a gamer and you’ve just not met that one.

Looks seriously great. Lots of improvement. The crashing stopped and has been replaced by errors. Presumably issues with the server rather than the app.

The compact view looks slick. It would be better if clicking the thumbnail brought you directly to the image such as in apollo.

I'd also love swipe gesture for voting.

The 'new post' constantly having the url for your other brew app is pretty unwelcome. Especially in its current form where it looks like a hyperlink. If it was gray and user-typed URL text was white, it would be much more acceptable.
