I really appreciate your dedication but most of us are just trying to get by. I mean the fact that we’re engaging with you on this platform instead of others is worth something.

Personally I am old enough that I have never had social media. ICQ then AIM were the way people connected when I was young. Many of the people my age have Facebook accounts, but it’s not like they’re on there obsessing daily.

My wife deleted her Facebook a couple years ago and I was so proud of her.

Please be careful. Your heart is in the right place but if you keep cutting people out over a shitty choice of platform you might end up out of friends.

I listened to a nurse the other day complain that they were only getting cost of living adjustments instead of a “real raise.” Like holy shit a lot of us got nothing. I’m making the same thing as I was during the pandemic and my money is worth the equivalent of $6 less per hour due to inflation.

I understand why you would think that, but it’s wrong. The secret service is absolutely still in charge of investigating counterfeit money.

I handled a lot of cash for an old job and I had to submit a form to the secret service whenever I reported counterfeits.

Yeah I am the no plan kind of traveler. My wife is the general plan type and even we clash sometimes. I can’t handle the itinerary people. I’ve gone on trips with them but I won’t participate in their scheduled activities. For that reason cruises seem like the lamest way to waste money on travel to me.

I was an 18 year old boy once. Getting laid was pretty high priority. Hitching yourself to the regressives will alienate kids his age, fucking up the priority.

So I have balls and yeah they’re the first thing on my body to start to smell. I can skip a shower if I’m in a hurry and I don’t smell much. That’s with working a job that’s usually physical. I was a punk kid fucking punk girls when I was younger and we didn’t bathe every day. I didn’t notice much smell then....
