I own a Huawei P20 phone with the Leica camera. I try to take at least 1 half decent photo every day if I can.

In 2020, Apress published my first book, 'Arduino Software Internals'. My second, 'Arduino Interrupts' was published in Dec 2023. I'm writing another as well as a 2nd edition of 'Internals' to document recent changes.

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Tuesday. Last night we went to bed in Korčula and this morning we are motoring up the coast to Vis, another Croation island. We have just stopped for a two hour swim break for those who like a cool bath in the morning!

We have news from home. The house sitters report that they have not started on our wine yet!

A small tray truck just drove past me (looked like it was used by a builder). It was turning left and there was an orange box mounted on the door blaring out "STAND CLEAR... VEHICLE TURNING LEFT"

I've not seen/heard that before.

@the_rail_life We have lots of those in the UK. It's for cyclists and pedestrians who can't/won't/don't read the signs to stay clear of turning vehicles.

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Monday. MrsD and I are currently under way on a small boat from Slano to wherever we are going today. Departure time was 05:00 this morning which is really 04:00 to our BST enabled body clocks!

Good afternoon fellow Mastos and how are you this sunny Sunday? Yes, it's sunny. Well, I am in Croatia so that probably helps. Just up the coast from Dubrovnik. It's currently swimming time, but as I used to scuba dive the Scottish coasts, and swam for the school, I find that I can't be bothered to get in the water these days.

If anyone is interested, the bridge is the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Bridge. It is, apparently, a great place to bungee jump.

@johnefrancis Bee keeping is great! MrsD and I used to do it in Yorkshire. Unfortunately MrsD is now highly allergic to bee stings. Don't let the girls get you, just in case!

@Roadwarrior29 I have no problem with that. Donnie will always be the voice if Runrig for me too, I saw them quite a few times ever since they guessed in the Radio 1 Roadshow the first time the came to Scotland. But some songs the Bruce sang are on my favourites playlist.

Did the very entertaining Via Ferrata at Castala yesterday with Dexter and Felipe. Ladders, walkways, balance bar, Tyrolean traverses, wire bridges, pendulums. Also 2 abseils - 18m and 30m. Lots of fun in the afternoon shade near Berja. Well worth a visit!

@elperronegro I used to dangle from yacht masts, 60' up on a rocking and rolling boat in busy harbours, fitting mast top equipment, radio antenna and nav lights. I was fine.

Putting a TV ariel on a bungalow chimney one day, I was fine but about half way through, I needed to get off that roof! Never liked heights since that day.

I get the full stomach drops when they show drone video of a field shot where there's a drop at the end. I could hurl my breakfast even with the TV!

Justice #Merchan says he believes that the #jury wants him to repeat a significant portion of the #JuryInstructions.

He will read pages 6-35.

Each page yesterday took him just a little more than a minute, so this will take >30 mins.

Between that & the testimony readbacks, also expected to take >30 mins, there will likely be >1 hour this morning w/the jury in the courtroom, not actively deliberating.

Today's shot comes from a magical day in the Scottish , a few years ago, when I was photographing red squirrels.

These charming characters are incredibly agile and can jump great distances between trees.

Here I managed to capture one as it appears to be flying down my lens.
