I’ll never get to use the Nürnberg—Erfurt high speed line. I am perfectly positioned in Nürnberg today … and the line is closed for engineering works.

Current plan: take the screaming monkey to Hof. I’m sure I’ll regret this.

    Day two of this weekend trip starts as expected. Eurobahn to Düsseldorf: cancelled. But I planned for that and am up early. While we all wait for National Express from Aachen, it unceremoniously drops off the departure board (announcements are only made for DB trains here) and is now shown way down as 75 minutes late. Let’s hope the S-Bahn works.

    Hat hier zufällig jemand die Herausforderung der Diebstahlprävention bei Fahrrädern gelöst?

    Mir bekannte Ansätze:

    • Hochwertige Schlösser (idealerweise zwei, eins Bügel, eins Kette)
    • Fahrradversicherung
    • Fahrradboxen für Park&Ride
    • Überwachte Fahrrad-Garagen
    • Fahrrad nur an gut besuchten Stellen abschließen
    • Understatement (ein unscheinbares, aber gutes (gut im Sinne der Funktionalität) Rad fahren)
    • Fahrrad nie lange draussen abstellen
    • Gravur im Rahmen
    • Altes Zweitrad für unterwegs
    • ....

    Wie geht ihr die Sache an? Wer hat Ideen?

    Da ist ja besonders auf Schnelligkeit ankommt sollte die Polizei in den Ländern spezielle Webseiten dafür einrichten.
    Am besten, wo man auch ja eventuell Smart Tags teilen kann um Mehr über das Vorgehen zu erfahren

    Leaks for the upcoming Snapdragon X Elite chip look enticing.

    They claim 2x GPU & CPU perofmance vs. the x86 competition and also 1/3rd of the power consumption. Ofc. we don't know what they are comparing to, but I really want to believe

    @Techaltar the biggest problem of for me is not hardware but software:

    the lack of Apple Tags or something comparable.

    I highly tag my content or sort it via red tag /green tag

    I also use and

    This is really good researched.

    I had a iPhone 5 for for 6 years

    First the battery inflated and had to be replaced

    Then the security updates stopped

    Then it got water damaged

    and finally, 3G was switched off

    So I highly doubt anything beyond 7 years
