Don’t hop off of Lemmy, switch to an instance that doesn’t federated with threads. That’s the beauty of decentralization.

Facebook is entirely supported by ad revenue, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they put ads as posts and had fake engagement on them on threads. I don’t want to see of that seeping out here.

In April 2019, a Twitter post by Pyle from 2017 resurfaced regarding the pro-life rally March For Life. According to some reporters, Pyle’s tweet expressed support for, or defended, March For Life. The tweet caused many fans to turn against Strange Planet and its creator, in a controversy described by at least one outlet as an example of the Milkshake Duck phenomenon.[23][24][25]

Pyle released a statement shortly afterwards which did not mention abortion, but said that he and his wife “have private beliefs as they pertain to our Christian faith. We believe separation of church and state is crucial to our nation flourishing.” He also stated they voted for the Democratic Party, and were “troubled by what the Republican Party has become and [did] not want to be associated with it.”[25][26][27]

In 2022, he posted to social media in support of Bernie Sanders’ tweet in response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which called the decision “an outrage” and supported codifying Roe into law.

Come on guys don't let that discourage you from commenting about it; that's exactly what admins and spez want (hell some of those are probably spez's alts lmao).

Minecraft even pulled out of reddit today; other companies might follow. Users just need to keep up the pressure in reddit discussions.

Since Reddit admin have made it impossible to delete posts by hindering tools' access to the API and by simply reinstating them from archives, has anyone tried simply batch editing them to something guaranteed to get banned?
