The author that brought you Troll Song and Forgotten Legends now offers you the chance to read the third book in the The Wizard's Scion: The Third Wish.
Volume three of the Wizard's Scion is now scheduled for release on May 6, 2024, titled 'The Third Wish'! It will be in Ebook first, with print to soon follow.
In this novel, old enemies of Heart Forge band together and seek to alter history with a time machinel, forcing the Steel Wizard, Levi Jacobs, to take action, despite the pain of having recently lost his parents.
@chiraag@bookstodon Mostly a matter of fewer middlemen. Draft2Digital is the parent company of Smashwords, so I get to keep more of the profits when my books sell there.
That's mostly why its my favorite for Ebooks, but they also support open standards and don't use DRM, so you can read my books on any device you like.
Volume 2 of Ashen Blades, She Goes to War, is now available in print! In this novel, Little Miss Secret braves the jungles of Vietnam, in 1972, in pursuit of her demonic nemesis, Vogerath.
Also includes the novella She Goes to Summer Camp, in which she goes undercover as a teenager to root out the demons hiding at a summer camp, in 1986.
I've found another online store that respects the price I've set on print copies of my books.
Has anyone ever heard of bookshop.org? Anything good or bad to say about them?
I found my books on it recently and the site has good reviews online, so I've added bookshop.org links to the list that shows up when you click on one of my books2read links.
@OwenTyme@bookstodon I use the uk.bookshop.org quite a bit. Sometimes because I'm ordering a book I don't want a major retailer involved, but mostly because it's keeping brick and mortar bookshops alive.
So far (10 or so), the delivery has been a few working days, and occasionally I'll get a handwritten "thanks" note included.
It's better than saving a few quid to maybe get a battered (if at all) book delivered from the smiling behemoth who'll do their worst if there's a problem.
@OwenTyme@bookstodon I've used bookshop.org from the beginning and give it all-my-thumbs up. I love how they support brick-and-mortar independent booksellers.
She Goes to Summer Camp is now available as both a free Ebook and an inexpensive print edition ($9.99 from Barnes and Noble).
This is the novella included at the end of She Goes to War, all by itself. So, if you want to get a taste for my Ashen Blades series without paying for it, this little Novella might be just the ticket.
