Any recommendations for good Java #WebFramework? We have used spring but just starting to move to #Java 11 and them requiring java 17 for supported versions makes it less than ideal.
Preferably it works standalone and hosted in wildfly/jboss

For some reason the birds really like the concrete part of our barn, I guess because it's warmer there so any chance they get they sneak in there. Yesterday we were working in there and left the door open so naturally one bird had to sneak in and see what we were doing.

Also pictured is the original electrical wiring from I guess the early forties. For some reason we opt to not use it 😆

The situation with Microsoft Entra groups is such a mess. Not being able to nest m365 groups and not being able to have dynamic security groups is just a pain. It feels a lot like Microsoft has just given up on the absolute fundamentals.

Java EE is so easy to work with. Trying to migrate a soap service so far all I've had to learn is
Parts of the soap spec
How the old javaEE spec relates to it
How the new JavaEE spec relates to it
Which open source framework is actually used for the implementation and which parts of it are used
A bunch of classloading bullshit

And this is to keep some old apps working as they currently do, it doesn't actually provide any value whatsoever

Doing some projects trying to calculate needed materials and pricing and it's so nice being able to mix text and calculations.

There's a lot more features that I haven't touched

Spent the last two days making a new plant bed. Ran out of good stones so I even had to go dig for new ones behind the barn 😂 everything around it is a work in progress, probably won't finish it this year, being able to grow more things is the important part 😀 #gardening #planting

I noticed two nights ago that one of the hens didn't fit on the sleeping log with all the others so I went and found a longer one and this is the result. Not sure if she's alone by choice, bullying or haven't figured out there's more room for her now.

Went to feed the chickens this morning and one was missing. Found it on the roof, confused and apparently too afraid of heights to jump down again 😂 had to herd it through the barn to a section with more shelves so it could get down #chickens #HensOfMastodon
