But that ad is so bad.

They’re basically conceding that the only thing they’ve done differently vs the old ones is that they made it thinner. Which… Who was asking for that?

Also, the new iPad Pros are actually thinner and lighter than the iPad Airs, because Apple is the king of confusion these days.

That thing was underpowered when it came out, let alone now. They could likely grab a bunch of sales by coming out with a higher-powered system alongside a cheaper version, because many people would like to play games at higher than 25 fps.

Because Tears of the Kingdom felt like it was running at 24 fps and 720p, with even further framerate drops, making it feel unplayable.

So it’s become difficult just to actually play games on it. The games have surpassed the ability of the hardware.

I’ve been thinking the exact same thing. But then I think, “I need to be able to install apps like proton mail, my bank app, and Signal. But I NEED a web browser because I do a lot of personal business-related things on my phone. Well, now I’m back at just having a smartphone.”

I don’t know, I need all the functionality of a smartphone, but I want some kind of physical control to keep me off it until I actually need it for something. Mostly something that makes using it just difficult enough that it’s not worth using only because of boredom. And software controls are just too easy to turn off.

So I use both, depending on context. “Setup” is a noun, “set up” is a verb. “Login” is a noun, “log in” is a verb.

I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out different proper contexts for “anytime” vs “any time,” but honestly, I can decide one way or the other.

It’s not about sound. Would’ve is a contraction of “would have” not “would of.”

Would of is not a different way to interact with English because the meaning of “have” and “of” are completely different.

“Sanitized” is the best way to describe everything Disney puts out these days, whether it’s Marvel, Star Wars, or even Pixar.

They feel designed-by-committee, unassuming, uncontroversial, flat, easy. There’s little experimentation in story-telling, filming techniques, dialogue, and pacing. It’s always the “conversation, action, witty remark between characters, action, conversation, witty remark” formula.

It’s all so predictable and boring.
