Good news: I have passed the point at which I'm living with anxiety about this surgery being taken away from me and not happening.

Bad news: I now have anxiety about "Holy shit they're gonna cut me open and scoop out my insides Jesus fucking hell this is really happening!!"

    Similar here with my 3-day cadence. I use a reminder on my iPhone which is set to recur after I mark it as complete.

    Also I turn a bit bitchy when my estrogen is low so my wife is usually asking when my shot is due 🤣 (also why I’m not shocked at my results).

    How dare you all post supportive, loving messages about me!?! I'm supposed to be moping over here! It's hard to sadgirl when so many people say they appreciate me, gosh darn it.

    People are so rude on the fedi, not even letting me just feed my trauma with a self-hate spiral. 🤣​

    Appreciate all of you too and sending you all virtual hugs and love in return. I know some people struggle to connect with folks here, but somehow I found myself an actual community, which is kind of stupendously amazing 🥰​

    Busy week with business travel, so quick while I’m doing professional things.

    Trying to style it up.

    For those that know where I am, no issues at all thus far (except boob pat down and medical dilators getting flagged while going through airport security).

    It was a busy trip, so didn’t have much time to check socials. I’m home now.
    The trip went well, especially considering I had to go to Florida. No issues there, but was a bit stressful. Only “fun” I had was with airport security.

    Going to Destination: Security thought my boobs needed extra attention to the point they kept asking me to go to a private room for screening (and I almost got screened by a male agent) which I declined, cause if you feel the need to do those type of checks, you can do it with an audience of my fellow travelers. They also thought my medical dilators were explosives and pulled them out of my bag publicly, almost as if that agent was trying to embarrass me.

    Agent holding up a dilator: “What is this, some kind of massage device?”
    Me: “It is my vaginal dilator.”
    Maybe it was ignorance, but I don’t let it get a rise out of me. I’m proud of who I am, and you can’t embarrass me that easily, and if you try to play those games, I will answer with a smile on my face.
