I question their ceiling due to songwriting and vocals that come up short, but there is no doubt these guys can play. And while not great, their vocals are still better than most pure jambands.

For now, it seems like they are destined for more growth and excitement , so we’re firm on the buy rating.

@fogelnet @NateFederman @mrcompletely @chopaganda I don’t know. Think of when Billy inevitably forms an electric band with a sound (and a drummer) that can fill those arenas. Established conpany with a whole new revenue stream and the potential to dominate it. It will be like Apple dropping the iPhone.

@chopaganda I’ve purchased tickets to a KGLW show 10 months from now, which is pretty early for music I can’t quite grok, despite my best efforts. I’m really hot/cold on this band. Bought the tickets based on recs like these and so I don’t have to listen to another head say I won’t get it until I see them live. I remain skeptically hopeful.

@LostReflector After decades in AL, it’s a given Saban will be at Panic. Carroll thinks Goose and Eggy and some of the other younger bands have something cool and fresh brewing. Belichick is just here for the lot, as many balloons as his $20 will buy (somehow he’ll get 6 and some draft picks), and random powder groundscores.

My range of vision narrowed down to just Dickie Betts, then I fished and woke up 3 seconds later sober to some very concerned bikers asking if I was okay. One of the wookest moments of my life.
