I discovered a glitch in the Matrix!

A situation so unlikely I never considered it possible!

There is no #npm package for generating #Gemtext (for #Gemini resp. #Gopher)!

The closest I could find is a parser from 2020.

Plus plenty of cryptocurrency garbage.

Excuse me, there's a framework waiting to be written 😸

(If you want to turn Markdown into Gemtext, recommendations go to a Python package)

Did you know in Japan they have laws around doing layoffs? They require the company to try every other avenue before being allowed to lay people off as a last resort. That includes dramatically reducing the pay of executives before they can prove they are in actual dire straits and can legally let people go

Offenbar ist nicht ausgeschlossen, dass sogar die deutsche Polizei sich nicht immer an das Gesetz hält und womöglich Daten speichert, die gar nicht hätten gespeichert werden dürfen 😶

Möchte mich jetzt endlich mal mit WebDev etwas mehr auseinandersetzen.
Suche nach ner Library die ziemlich lightweight ist.
Sprache wäre bevorzugterweise Rust, ich traue meinem C Code nicht und Java/C# kann ich zu wenig für sowas, wäre jedoch für andere Vorschläge offen (bloß kein JS, das hat im Backend nix verloren)
Möchte nix, was mir die halbe Website selbst macht, Datenbank usw. möchte ich selbst handeln.

Here’s what I consider a security issue that I reported to Apple:

• In Safari, open a new private browsing window (Cmd-Shift-N).
• Open any URL in that window (or multiple in tabs in that window).
• Lock your screen (Cmd-Ctrl-Q).
• Unlock your screen.

The private browsing window is now locked. Even if you allow your colleges to use your computer, they cannot know what pages you looked at. Right? Wrong.
