Going through my social media, it seems like Gaza doesn't even exist.
It's all about student protests and police brutality in US.
In the mean time, the stories of Maas Graves, mass execution of healthcare staff and mutilated bodies of palestinians in Khan Yunis have all but disappeared from the news.
No news about starvation.
No news about murder of aid workers by IDF.
No news of bombing tent cities with fire bombs.
No news of Netanyahu ignoring the peace proposal.
No news that Biden keep sending weapons and money to Netanyahu.
I guess it's good that we see the student protests are spreading, but it should not be forgetting WHY they are protesting and what over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza are forced to live every day.

As the world is getting excited about the Erdogan's latest PR trick to hide his 6 months of criminal complicity in the ongoing genocide in Gaza by supporting the "Flotilla 2" from Turkey to Gaza, sitting and listening to the song of my favorite Swedish singer late Björn Afzelius who wrote the song about a similar even in mid 80s to take a boat with many famous artists and activists from all around the world to Gaza from Greece.

And I listened to it one more time, with tears in my eyes after watching the videos of families trying to identify remains of their loved one recovered from a mass grave at Nasser hospital in Khan Yunis. I listen to it as I did live in 1990, and so many times after that in the past 36 years and sadly, the news on the TV is the same, so is the reaction from the Israeli politicians and our beloved neutral high morality leaders.
We were flying over Saloniki

the Northern Sporades.
We rounded Piraeus
and landed in Athens.
The city lay there, white
and attractive, in the sun.
But I stopped next to a TV screen
which was in the arrival hall.
I wanted to see the latest news
from Jerusalem.

that those who chartered the boat
were murdered the same night.
They had blown them into atoms
next to a row of their cars
So now we sat in front of the news

among the quiet Palestineans
and among agents from Mossad
who bought postcards.

So I traveled from Athens
with the tiredness of death in my heart.

The number of victims recovered from the mass grave in Khan Yunis have reached 73
They expect the number to reach up to 200 and many of the victims have traces of torture, missing skin parts or body organs.
Since these crimes were comitted by IDF, you will not see any investigation or call for UN or EU to send people to investigate and document the atrocities, much less call for accountability or god forbid holding those responsible accountable.
200 days since the start of the most documented genocide in modern history. But it's not like anyone in position of power seems to care or dare to investigate or call for an end to it.
A Palestinian journalist went to visit her brothers' graves in Khan Yunis after the Israeli occupation withdrew, only to find nothing but rubble and destruction. Israeli bulldozers had razed the cemetery before leaving.
This was retribution by Israel against #WCK for daring to file a complaint with the IDF over one of their snipers targeting their aid workers SATURDAY when they were going to a food warehouse in #KhanYunis area:

Israeli reservists and senior officers, speaking to Israeli media about footage obtained by Israeli drones shot down by Palestinian resistance, confirm the deliberate targeting of unarmed Palestinian youths in Khan Yunis.
The officers highlighted that the youths posed no threat to Israeli forces and may have been searching for food when they were caught in a designated “killing” zone set up by the Israeli occupation army in various #Gaza areas.
They know they comitted war crimes, they are not even trying to hide it.
Dr. Hamdi Baroud, a prominent law professor at Al-Azhar University's Faculty of Law in #Gaza and a former dean of the same faculty, disappeared on January 27 during the Israeli invasion of #KhanYunis.
Today, locals discovered his body, shot and killed in areas recently vacated by Israeli forces.

An Israeli soldier (M.C) from the paratrooper brigade currently operating in #KhanYunis publishes a story to his #Instagram account bragging about the destruction of Palestinian civilians' homes.
Heartbreaking video of a palestinian child who lost his father and siblings in an Israeli missile attack was asked "What Do You Want", his response was "I want to live".
Israeli snipers targeting any person moving on the streets of Khan Yunis or northern roads to Rafah. Even nurses inside the last functioning hospital were shot by IDF snipers through the windows of the hospital.
IDF is also bombing coastal areas of Rafah and targeting ambulances (the few still functioning) and people carrying the wounded.
