FILTER THOSE EMAILS, CITIZEN!

Get a stupid weekly email from someone you can't block? Automated crap? Create a filter/rule to mark it as read, archive it, delete it, etc.

Click unsubscribe on EVERY Brand email, and make a filter for "we've updated our privacy policy" those go straight to read + trash for me.

Similarly, manage the hell out of your notifications on mobile etc. I just turn everything off by default, which is usually ideal.

I hate this thing where young leftists seem to have 0 understanding of history, geopolitics, power structures.

They mostly correctly identify a single unjust power structure, the one most immediately ajacent to them, and they seem to think "ok my governor sucks and is white. Clearly the Whiteness does this, not the fascism."

Please read history. I do not think Genghis Kahn did all that stuff for "whiteness"

Do other countries' leftists have this problem? I'm just struggling to think of a random middle eastern leftist thinking "man it's all the fucking Shiites fault, especially in Africa and America" but maybe they just don't have Twitter/Tumblr over there so I don't see it.

Either humans just suck ass if not exposed to the right ideas and a variety of cultures/people, or somehow this earworm has been taught religiously to more or less every single culture in every single house for tens of thousands of years

If I were making a video game around a motorcycle brand some people still associate with white supremacist biker gangs, I might have left words like "race" and "rally" out of the title entirely, and I definitely wouldn't have made the box art look like it says "Race Rally" from afar.

Sometimes (or even often) when I search for stuff now it seems the search engine just latches onto one of the words and ignores the rest. Doesn't show up in the summary or where on the page when I ctrl+F. Perhaps it's partly due to so many pages being dynamic now.

Ideal account safety for me seems to be Passkey + backup MFA (timed nonce)

Passkey only might be more "secure" in some ways but my passkey is my phone which doesn't last forever. I have a Titan key to add too, but that's not very useful when I have to add it PER account. I like the idea of an MFA app I almost never have to open. Been needing it too much pre-passkey
