Well, it seems to update randomly, but it last updated only a few days ago. And again a few days before that. So it kinda comes when it's ready.

Interesting, why is kbin making more sense? I'm on both but strongly prefer lemmy.

YSK that you can force reset many small electronics by plugging them into their charger.

Why YSK: Sometimes devices crash in such a way that you can't turn them off and there is no reset button. This works with headphones, Bluetooth speakers and other small battery-powered devices. If the power button doesn't do anything, try plugging it into the charger and that will often fix it.

I'm totally new to this, but I thought this might be a good place to ask: Is there an Android app I can use to access kbin? I have the website pinned to my home screen for now, but the touch targets are a bit tiny and it doesn't seem well optimized for mobile. Also any tips and tricks on . . . this whole Fediverse thing would be great. Still trying to wrap my head around it.

No not yet, but they're working on it. For now try "add to home screen" or "install" depending on the browser you use.

I'm trying to figure that out actually. I think ideally end to end encryption is important. No mega corporations like Meta. Being able to send pictures, videos, and pdfs. Being able to have calls both voice or video. I'm not sure any messenger has all of these things, but I'm on the hunt!

I'm on version 0.0.34, I can see the gif play when I click but there's no indication of it being a gif before I click on it.

Does this bug on the mobile site happen to you too?

On mobile, no matter which instance I browse in, and no matter what I sort by (top day, active, etc.), after a bit of scrolling I suddenly get an influx of recently created posts that spams the whole page, and I can't continue scrolling because the spam just keeps going. I'm not even sorting by new....

Yep. It's a know bug. I believe they are fixing it with the next update. But you can also use Jerboa it's getting really good.

It's mostly because I don't like someone else making decisions for me like for example my vaporizer is Bluetooth and has an app but apple doesn't allow such apps anymore. On Android even if Google stops allowing such apps on the play store I can still get it directly or from an alternative store.
