something green is pushing up out of the pot where the onion seeds are - I hope it's an onion
the romaine lettuce seeds are sprouting but somehow each little cup's seedling has a different look from its siblings, idk wtf is going on there but as they grow, we shall see!
They've dedicated their nine lives to the shared composition of a life lived in nature that few of us are able to examine on a paws level.
Unfortunately, when Cat Photogs meet, they tend to take photos of each other, and they lose focus on memorializing the beautiful nature surrounding them!
I saw a touring company production of #Hadestown in #SanFrancisco today and it was as good as I had hoped. I knew nothing of the book, only about half the songs, but it was already rich in my blood and it was lovely.
in 1982 I learned how to say "I speak a little Mandarin," "you are fat," "I am not hungry," "Oh no! Miss Thing!" and "I ain't no queen, honey, I wear NO crown!"

If the #gardening#gods are kind to me, the lettuce seedlings will easily transplant to the raised #garden bed when they're big enough to go outside.
I'm a ham-handed #gardener, & when I transplant delicate seedlings I often dislodge so much soil that the tiny roots become exposed. So these open-ended cardboard rolls should hold long enough to simply place in the soil, as is, & let #nature do its thing!
I had to look up "mycorrhiza" -- thanks for the info!
I can't make out what kind of plants those are in your photo. They look like a hardy tomato or something? My transplants are usually small & delicate. Maybe I should leave them in the house longer than I do. I don't know.
One thing I love about #gardening is there's always a new planting season coming up if I botch the current one!
