sometimes I forget to caption my photos. Sorry! It's just literally forgetfulness, nothing ableist going on.

no but I'ma do my fail-proof trick from my office work days, which is -- the minute I type the words "attached please find", I stop typing the email & attach the file. I'll not forget today's lesson!

Something I want to post on Facebook but can't because friends will feel attacked:

If you don't care that #COVID19 is at the 2nd-highest level of the pandemic,
Or that hospitals brought back masks,
Or that the CDC Director recommended masking,
Or that 10 to 20% of infections result in Long COVID,
Or that your infection could result in someone else's disability,
So you went to a crowded restaurant or event this weekend,
Maybe you're not the empathetic person you think you are.

but of course you know this, and I know you know this, but I can't help but bristle at how fragile people are.

Maybe this is why I have focused, in the last several years of my life, on my #cats and #gardening.

He has been scrubbing this from his pages.

The advice on carrying human ashes on an airplane is that you don't need special permission to do it but they recommend a "sturdy container", which is the kind of addendum that comes from horrible experience.

it's actually -- the reason I looked it up is b/c I took a pretty hard crack on the temple last week on the sailboat ("Helms Away!" happened faster than the captain could yell it -- I ducked but not low enough) & I've got a small but dense lump on my skull, I was wondering if it was something to worry about but it seems the main thing for me to worry about is that MY BRAIN IS SHRINKING

I AM ONLY 66 God help me
