- This , one of the precious few remaining lowland coastal rainforests in is not a national park, but a "state forest", owned by the government run Forestry Corp. Despite being a native forest, it could potentially be logged (again) for timber. only exists because we allow it to. As a loss-making money pit, NSW govt can dissolve it at will, and transfer the "State Forests" to NSW National Parks.
