You can change the default file manager. I’ve been using Nemo for years because Nautilus was pretty bad. Once I update I’ll have to re-evaluate and see what I think.

How does a civil suit by a state, NOT federal, against your company that has been conducting fraud in said state for YEARS, being held accountable [finally] somehow equal election interference?

Unless you were going to use those properties to either gain some kind of advantage in the election, or to enrich yourself with foreign influence dollars post election. 🤔

Yeah I get his “thinking”, I just don’t see why it gets regurgitated by the media and everyone else without a follow up, “How?”. Or if you are going to post/print his insane rants it should be right next to the charges he is guilty of and WHY it isn’t interference at all.

I don’t think it’s an overruling, believe the Supreme Court just said things were cool until the appeals court makes a ruling otherwise.

I think this being an election year in the US also makes the whole world more wacky. It will decide if the world gets one more dictator or not, and one that would have a massive military at his disposal.

So he can still appeal, but NY can/will begin liquidating his properties to satisfy his penalty while he waits for his appeal to play out (they’ll have taken everything they can by the time his appeal is even heard more than likely - as courts are backed up).

So by doing this the way she has set it up, she can now allow Trump’s lawyers to present this amazingly poor case that the espionage act is too vague. If she then grants that motion to toss the charge, Jack Smith cannot appeal it, nor can Trump be charged with it again because of Double Jeopardy.

Our only hope is that Jack Smith is right now working on his case to force her recusal from the case, that he’ll need to make to the 11th circuit.

EDIT - This all requires a jury sworn in - forgot that part.

500/500 but average 530+ both ways for $50/month. Up to 5 gigabit is available in my area.

EDIT - In the US the FCC just upped what is considered “broadband” to 100/20 , which still seems sad for upload, but at least moving in the right direction. It was an awful 25/3 before.

Agreed, them having a relationship shouldn’t even have been an issue. Maybe the court would spend a day to explain to the defense that the court will not deal with conspiracy theories, then on with the show. Giving this nonsense months of attention when none of it is relevant to the case (or defense), should have been enough to move this on almost immediately.

Standing up for your principles isn’t ridiculous, and had more artists done the same Spotify might have gotten the message. It’s not too dissimilar to when Pearl Jam pulled out of all Ticketmaster venues in the 90s over the price gouging of ticket prices. Had other artists had the nerve to do so as well maybe we wouldn’t have the insane concert ticket pricing of today.

It should also be stated that the site originally was running Mastodon with a new skin to try and hide it. They have since acknowledged it and posted the source code required on the Legal page apparently (according to Wikipedia).

I’m in no way “successful”, but just wanted to say that you need to stop comparing yourself with others, it’ll lead you in an endless circle. You also don’t sound like a failure to me, relationships are hard, and having the trifecta of ADHD/Autism/Trauma does not make things easy. We need to work harder for everything and the world is designed for neurotypicals, so stop beating yourself up for being above average when you’re working harder than most you’re probably envious of.

It also might not be a bad idea to talk to someone about your trauma, and how it’s apparently impacting your view of yourself.

So this isn’t about actual gamers, this about bad actors looking for chuds to recruit through games, which is not a new concept. It used to be chat rooms, and then forums, then social media, now games (as many have social features).

I mean the US military, among others, have been using gaming to recruit people already.

This is all to say: we’ve been given many different channels and suggestions by the developers during our time on this platform for how to influence priorities. However, those priorities still have not materialized even after we used those channels and followed those suggestions–in fact, we’ve often observed our priorities seemingly being derided, played down at times, or to languish.

To me, this sounds like they were repeatedly trying to get the devs to work on what Beehaw wanted, and they are upset that those demands have not been met.

is there any program to force a linux based OS or a mac to only use outlet power and not battery power, even if I cannot physically remove the battery?

more questions about the MacBook Pro, Core i5, 2.8 GHz (I5-4308U), model A1502 (EMC 2875), a model where I cannot disconnect the battery, because the whole case is closed, a model Im going to use to experiment with mac and create a partition to install a linux distro alongside the mac os....

Having a court appointed auditor also makes it difficult for him to use laundered money (or otherwise illegal sources). He has already claimed the auditor has cost him “millions”, which isn’t a thing if you’re operating “beautifully” and above board all legal like.
