The repubs manipulate the haters, the mean-spirited limbic thinkers. The dems manipulate the tree-huggers, the kindhearted limbic thinkers. Nobody has even addressed me, a cerebral thinker, until Biden.
Under that framing, republican policy choices make sense. Ignore any nonsense they spout as to "why" they want a border wall, or forced birth, or more brutal cops. I've started seeing their whole platform as designed to cause as much pain to as many people as possible.
They structure society to create misery, which can be channeled into hate and manipulated.

So basically I'm out of work because our company is outsourcing to AI. AI is unrelated to what we do, but our boss is easily swayed by hype, so he paid everything to somebody to completely rebrand us as a company that focuses on providing AI services; THEIR expensive, third-party AI services instead of what our internal staff provides. Suddenly our company has a new website, new logo, new brand, all focused on providing AI services, all created by the company who gets paid by us for AI services.
Give Team Biden another four years; we might be able to make the world work differently. It's goan take a long time for the pendulum to swing back to where we were before nixon and reagan destroyed the nation's conscience and common good, but we might as well try.
